Continuing our visit in Kyoto we become even more aware of the beauty of the sacred spaces this city has to offer. Here a glimpse, with more to come!  

Arrived in Kyoto after leaving the coast we started getting acquainted with the city for our longer stay. We’ve got already a good glimpse of what’s expecting us and we’re looking forward to seeing  more!

After leaving Kyushu we came back to the main island Honshu and headed to the northern coast. This is kind of “off the beaten path” and indeed palace with many different traits. First stop: Hagi   Then Matsue   Tottori…

Our first stop in Kyushu has been in Nagasaki, where you can actually feel and see the long history of this peculiar city.   We then went for a bus ride through the mountains of northern Kyushu and headed east…

After leaving lovely Miyajima we headed to Nagasaki. We have tried to enjoy the city despite the rain and left with quite a few impressions.
